Welcome to the UmeŚ Centre for Global Health Research!

We are a Centre of Excellence within UmeŚ University, set up in 2007 through a grant from FAS (now Forte), the Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research (grant no. 2006-1512) and supported by co-funding from UmeŚ University. Our mission is to engage with a global agenda on health research, addressing critical issues in global health and facilitating interaction and collaboration between Northern and Southern partners.
